1. Introduction

The Lillooet Museum (“the Museum”) values the support of members and offers a variety of membership levels to provide access to our exhibitions, programs, and events. This policy outlines the terms and conditions of Museum membership.

2. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits vary depending on the membership level. General benefits may include:

  • Free Admission: Unlimited free admission to the Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.
  • Member Previews: Invitations to exclusive member previews of new exhibitions.
  • Member Events: Invitations to members-only events and activities.
  • Guest Passes: Complimentary guest passes.
  • Reciprocal Benefits: Reciprocal admission to other participating museums (where applicable).
  • Early Bird Registration: Priority registration for events and workshops.

Specific benefits for each membership level are detailed in Section 3.

3. Membership Levels and Fees

The Museum offers the following membership levels:

  • Individual: $25 per year
    • Benefits: Free Admission, Member Previews, Member Events, one (1) Guest Pass per year
  • Family: $40 per year (Includes two (2) adults and up to four (4) children under 18.
    • Benefits: Free Admission, Member Previews, Member Events, two (2) Guest Passes per year
  • Senior (Individual): $20 per year Age 65 and over
    • Benefits: Free Admission, Member Previews, Member Events, one (1) Guest Pass per year
  • Student: $10 per year (Valid student ID required)
    • Benefits: Free Admission, Member Previews, Member Events, one (1) Guest Pass per year
  • Note: Membership fees are subject to change.

4. Membership Term and Renewal

  • Membership is valid for one (1) year(s) from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
  • Members will receive a renewal notice prior to the expiration of their membership.
  • Members can renew their membership online, by mail, or in person at the Museum.
  • Late renewals may cause a lapse in membership benefits.

5. Membership Cards and Identification

  • Members will receive a QR code or membership card upon joining or renewing.
  • Members must present their membership card and valid photo identification to gain admission to the Museum and to receive member discounts.
  • Lost or stolen membership cards can be replaced for a fee of $10.

6. Guest Policy

  • Guest policies vary depending on the membership level.
  • Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with Museum rules and regulations.

7. Changes to Membership Benefits

  • The Museum reserves the right to change membership benefits, fees, and policies at any time.
  • Members will be notified of any significant changes in writing or via email.

8. Membership Cancellation and Refunds

  • Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases of documented extenuating circumstances, and at the discretion of the museum.
  • The Museum reserves the right to revoke membership without refund for violation of Museum rules and regulations or for any conduct deemed detrimental to the Museum.

9. Privacy Policy

  • The Museum collects and uses member information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available on the Museum’s website or upon request.
